After a long and difficult recovery from my second child, I found myself struggling to find my identity again, both physically and mentally. I had gained weight, lost muscle, and developed diastasis recti and stress incontinence. I did not feel comfortable in my own skin. I became committed to rebuilding my body, and overtime, I actually became stronger than I was before kids! I also found a new sense of confidence to make changes and actually start living the life I wanted.
This journey inspired me so much that I decided to specialize in pre and postnatal fitness. I knew that I wanted to help other moms recover from pregnancy and childbirth, rebuild their strength, regain their confidence, and maintain a healthy lifestyle overall. Thus, California Active Mom was born.
